ETSI, a Partner in 3GPP, will be an exhibitor at the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, 16-19 February.

The stand will showcase the contribution that the LTE specifications are making towards providing a clear path for operators to evolve their networks.

To commemorate the functional freeze of the LTE specifications, as a part of 3GPP Release 8, a free DVD of 3GPP specifications and some important supporting material has been prepared for distribution from the Stand in Hall 2 (E47)*.

If you are visiting the Mobile World Congress, please drop by the ETSI Stand and collect your copy of the DVD and meet staff from ETSI and from the 3GPP Mobile Competence Centre.

LTE is aimed at providing the true global mobile broadband experience for users but also places high priority on improving spectral efficiency and reducing cost.
As equipment development continues to accelerate, 3GPP will now focus on fine-tuning the standard to ensure optimal performance.
