Valtteri Niemi (Nokia Corporation) has completed his third term as Chairman of 3GPP TSG SA WG3 and will now step down from the post,
after the 57th meeting of the Working Group in Dublin, Ireland, 16-20 November.

Bengt Sahlin has been elected as the new Chairman, un-opposed.

Mr Sahlin joined Ericsson in 2000 to work on mobile systems security and product security, he was technical coordinator for Ericsson’s security implementation projects and since 2003 he has been a part of the Ericsson 3GPP SA3 delegation.
